¡Fifi Gi! is a retro-femme-maximalist-inspired art store from Louisiana based mixed-media and collage artist, Natalie Armstrong.
Armstrong uses a combination of analog and digital collage techniques in her works most often featuring the playful re-imagining of classic retro pin ups as they occupy new spaces and places. ¡Fifi Gi! is about finding joy with colors, patterns, textures, and miniature 3D objects to create tiny worlds through storied details playfully manipulated and cheekily collaged.
Armstrong enjoys finding new ways to bring her designs to life not only through her art, but also with accessories, home decor and print products to bring an element of playfulness and joy into our everyday lives.
!FIfi GI!'s storytelling series thus far include, "Cajun Cowgirls" "I Heart NOLA" "The Old Maids" "Rococo on the Bayou", "Character Sketches", and "Burlesque on the Bayou".
