"Cajun Cowgirls" Series

This series is inspired by my love for all things Cajun Country! I remember taking a field trip on swamp boat tour as a child and feeding marshmellows to the gators. Even then, I remember how fascinated I was by that way of living and the raw beauty I saw there.  

With this series, I loved playing with the juxtaposition of these classic pin up girls set against the more raw and primal elements of bayou life. Each artwork is a celebration of the charm and wild allure of Cajun Country, blending nostalgia with the vibrant spirit of the bayou.
