Waitress on Tremé celebrates the soulful charm of one of New Orleans’ most culturally rich neighborhoods. A retro pin-up sits barefoot on her eclectic front porch just before her shift, bandana tied and apron on, framed by a bright teal door adorned with stained glass, tile inlays, voodoo tin signs, and a playful “Living in Sin” sign. Melted candles soften the edges of the scene, giving the porch a lived-in magic unique to Tremé.

Beside her sit her two black cats, Marie and Laveau, their bowls resting on porch steps collaged with the names of iconic New Orleans dishes.
