Collection: Daughters of Eve
Daughters of Eve reimagines Eve not as a figure of shame, transgression, or exile, but as the first in an expanding lineage of feminine guardians. Drawing from devotional imagery, each collage presents a woman tending a distinct realm—nature, memory, the unseen, and the quiet forces that sustain both people and place.
Built through layered digital and analog collage, vintage imagery, and fragmented historical sources, the series transforms familiar visual traditions into new mythologies. Recurring symbols such as animals, fruit, eggs, roots, water, and Southern ecologies create a shared language of fertility, protection, resilience, and renewal.
Together, Daughters of Eve imagines womanhood not as a story of origin or fall, but as an ongoing act of cultivation, inheritance, and care.
