Beneath a storm-dark sky, a weathered shotgun house dissolves into luminous green light, surrounded by oversized florals, winding vines, and mist-veiled waters. Skulls, frogs, and snakes emerge from the undergrowth, while tiny candles flicker among the leaves and bells hang from the house like gentle guardians.

At its heart, a watchful Voodoo mermaid waits beneath a full moon, as winged gators drift overhead in ceremonial dress. Inspired by the feu follet and filtered through a reverent Voodoo lens, The House That Whispers captures the mystical tension of the bayou—a place where beauty and unease coexist, where spirits linger just beyond the visible, and where the landscape seems to whisper its own stories.
