Taxidermy Tish — Fine Art Giclée Print

About the Work

Taxidermy Tish brings a glamorous wink to the eccentric collector trope. An elegant pin-up reclines on her chaise lounge in a lavish mansion showroom, dressed in her finest as though hosting a society gathering—only her guests are her outrageous taxidermy creations. Around her, birds appear mid-stride, cockroaches pose proudly on tiny legs, and squirrels ride atop raccoons in a parade of whimsical absurdity.

Her wide-eyed Cavalier King Charles looks on in disbelief, grounding the scene in gentle humor. Taxidermy Tish blends opulence with oddity, celebrating a woman who has curated her world entirely according to her own delight rather than convention. The piece playfully explores the tension between refinement and eccentricity, embracing the strange passions and unexpected pleasures that make each woman’s world uniquely her own.
