Bayou Afternoons captures a quiet, dreamy afternoon in the Louisiana bayou. A woman in a blue dress drifts through the water in a small boat, parasol in hand, surrounded by flowering trees, lily pads, stone fountains, and lush greenery. Alligators surface around her, while a white heron watches from the shore, turning an otherwise peaceful garden scene into something a little stranger.

She doesn't seem concerned by the creatures in the water. Maybe she's simply accustomed to them. Or maybe this is her world, and there's nothing unusual about sharing a quiet afternoon with a few alligators.
