And So, She Breathed Dreams Like Air — Fine Art Giclée Print

About the Work

Part of the Burlesque on the Bayou series, this decadent dreamscape floats between fantasy and the slow, enchanted hush of Louisiana twilight. Reclining in a golden tub overflowing with pink bubbles, a burlesque queen lifts her hand and releases a stream of magical bubbles—each one holding its own quiet story. In one, an egret drifts serenely; beside her in the tub, a gentle gator nestles among the froth as if part of the reverie. Moss-draped oaks form a natural cathedral around her, while a lone beaded chandelier hangs from above, casting soft, opulent light across the bayou.

And So She Breathed Dreams Like Air honors the quiet power of imagination and the luxury of self-made magic. It captures a woman wrapped in wonder, turning the bayou night into a place where dreams rise and drift like breath.
