And So, She Hung The Moon — Fine Art Giclée Print

About the Work

Part of the Burlesque on the Bayou series, this moonlit tableau blends decadence, danger, and Southern mystique. Suspended upon a glowing crescent moon, a burlesque goddess commands the night—her presence both celestial and deeply rooted in the humid pulse of the Louisiana bayou. Below her, alligators drift through dark water, fireflies spark their quiet lanterns, and a lone cypress tree as her fingers drip with beads that shimmer like spells cast into the dusk.

And So She Hung the Moon captures the tension between opulence and grit—the lush sensuality of womanhood wrapped in the wild, untamed spirit of the bayou. It’s a celebration of confidence, magic, and the power of claiming your own moonlight.
